Aruna Nitin Sarode is a multimedia artists from Round Lake, Illinois.
All things beautiful fascinate Aruna, be it nature or the human spirit. She is a self-taught artist, always observing, always learning. She works in oil, acrylic and watercolor mediums, taking advantage of the unique qualities of each and choosing the medium that best compliments the subject.

Aruna’s “All Things Beautiful” will be on display at Volo Bog State Natural Area through Sunday, February 27. Her works are available for sale through the Friends of Volo Bog with 25% of the proceeds supporting Volo Bog State Natural Area through the Friends, a 501(c)(3) membership organization.

• Won award at the "SlowLife" photography contest to showcase the "Power of Plants". The photograph was displayed at the U.S. Botanic Garden, Washington D.C. and Chicago Botanic Garden as part of the traveling exhibition.

• 4th Place winner in the Beginner Category of the Annual North Light Book Club Cover Competition - 2005
