More About Marriott Theatre Presents Frozen the Broadway Musical
Marriott Theatre, Chicagoland’s longest-running musical theatre, concludes its 2026 mainstage season with Frozen the Broadway Musical, the internationally celebrated stage musical based on Disney’s Academy Award-winning animated film. Nominated for three Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Frozen features beloved songs by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez from the film, along with new music written specifically for the stage. Previews begin November 4, with a press opening on November 11, and running through January 3. The production is directed by Ashley Rodbro (Broadway: Resident Director of Hamilton, Associate Director of Moulin Rouge! The Musical; Steppenwolf: The Movement You Need), choreographed by Katie Spelman (Broadway: The Notebook; Marriott Theatre: Come From Away, The Music Man), with music direction by Jeff Award winner Ryan T. Nelson.
In the beautiful mountainous kingdom of Arendelle, Princesses Anna and Elsa grow up sheltered inside their castle, isolated from the world and increasingly distant from each other. When Elsa is crowned queen, the magical powers she’s desperately tried to conceal from her sister take control, and she flees into the mountains. As a ferocious winter descends on Arendelle, Anna sets off on an epic journey to find Elsa and bring her home – with the help of hardworking ice harvester Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and a happy-go-lucky snowman named Olaf. Full of magic, humor, and a stunning musical score, Frozen is a powerful tale of sisterhood, acceptance, and finding the real meaning of true love.
Frozen stars Morgan Anita Wood as “Elsa,” Chloé Nadon-Enriquez as “Anna,” David Moreland as “Kristoff,” Nick Berninger as “Olaf,” Justin Albinder as “Hans,” Darian Goulding as “Oaken,” Garrett Lutz as “Sven,” Steven Strafford as “Duke of Weselton,” Evelyn Dorough as “Young Anna,” Tessa Mae Pundsack as “Young Elsa,” with Marta Bady, Ivan Bracy Jr., Joy Campbell, Carl Draper, Max Antonio Gonzalez, Laura Guley, Michael Earvin Martin, Kassi McMillan, Christopher Llewyn Ramirez, Elizabeth Romero, and understudies Emily Ann Brooks, Lilly Buck, Justine Cameron, Aidan Edwards, Gia Glenn, Matthew Millin, Lucy Panozzo and Harrison Asher Smith.
