Smooth never goes out of style. Yacht Rock Legends features four artists who are Grammy winners and nominees, the singers of multiple number one hits, and have resurrected a genre of music that dominated the charts in the late 70s & 80s. The incredible lineup of artists includes:
Bill Champlin, a multi-time Grammy winner and a twenty-eight year member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Group, Chicago. Champlin co-wrote Turn Your Love Around and After the Love Has Gone. In addition, he is the lead voice of Chicago hits “Look Away”, "Chasin' the Wind", and “Hard Habit to Break”.
Peter Beckett, the lead singer of Player His international hit “Baby Come Back”, "This Time I'm in It for Love" and "Prisoner of Your Love" is a soft rock classic. Beckett also led Player to multiple gold albums. In addition, he’s written songs for Olivia Newton-John and Kenny Rogers, to name a few.
John Ford Coley, one half of England Dan and John Ford Coley, the duo had four top ten hits including “Love is the Answer” and “I’d Really Love to See You Tonight”.
Walter Egan is best known for his gold record selling song “Magnet and Steel”. His other charted hits include “Hot Summer Nights” and “Only the Lucky”.
