    The trail runs from the YMCA on Commerce Rd, all the way to the Kensington Park entrance, near the Dairy Queen on Milford Rd.

    From the YMCA to the Dairy Queen is approximately 3.6 miles. This is a paved trail.

    Dragon Loop - 2.67 miles - grass/packed dirt, uneven terrain, slight elevation changes
    Orion Thru-way - 1.84 miles - grass/packed dirt, uneven terrain
    Dog Tail Trail - 0.97 miles - woodchip/grass, flat, slightly uneven

    Permitted uses include hiking, biking, geocaching, letterboxing and cross-country skiing (ungroomed). Fishing and non-motorized boating access also available.

    Rochester Park to Tienken - 0.9 miles
    Tienken to Dutton - 1.2 miles
    Dutton to Silver Bell - 1.0 mile
    Silver Bell to Gallagher - 0.6 miles
    Gallagher to Gunn - 0.8 miles
    Gunn to Adams - 1.4 miles
    Adams to Clarkston/Kern - 1.5 miles
    Clarkston/Kern to Atwater - 1.5 miles
    Total Mileage - 8.9 miles

    Terrain and Permitted Uses: 98% of the Trail is surfaced with crushed limestone. However, from Atwater Street south, approximately 1/4 mile, the Trail is paved with asphalt. The Trail surface is not conducive to roller blades or skateboards, but can accomodate larger stroller wheels and wheelchairs. There are no plans to surface the entire Trail with asphalt. The slope of the trail is generally 2%, going south to north.

    - The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. Our Task Force is a privately funded organization whose purpose is to encourage participation on the National Day of Prayer. It exists to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer, to create appropriate materials, and to mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America’s leaders and its families. The Task Force represents a Judeo-Christian expression of the national observance, based on our understanding that this country was birthed in prayer and in reverence for the God of the Bible.

    - The Troy Community Chorus under the direction of Mimi Gass and accompanied by Min Sook Chung will present their spring concert "Out of This World" on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 8:00 P.M. at Athens High School located at 4333 John R Road in Troy. The 2017 recipients of the Troy Community Chorus/Lester Miller Memorial Scholarship will be featured soloists.
    Advance tickets are $10 for patrons ages 6-61, $8 for seniors 62 and older and children 5 and under are admitted free of charge. All tickets will be $15 at the door. And all walkers are eligible for prizes at the event!
