More About Picture Me: A Visual Narrative of Self with Resident Artist Brie Miyoko
Students will use collage and other mediums to express their identities through self-reflection and portraiture. Color theory and various art techniques will be introduced throughout this course to strengthen your creative process and help you make compelling works of art. Whether we pull images from a magazine, cut pieces of fabric, identify with a pattern, or find words that reflect our personalities, these portraits will be a creative representation of who you are! Class meets Wednesdays, 3:45 - 5:45pm (10 sessions). No class on February 24. Free and open to students 12 - 18 yrs of age. 12 spots available. Registration is required through the TNAS website.
