More About 11th Annual Hummelstown Hunger Run
The Hummelstown Hunger Run was created to raise money for the Hummelstown Food Pantry while providing a quality, competitive, and fun event for our participants. All proceeds benefit the Hummelstown Food Pantry.
5K Run or Walk & 5M Run. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. The race/walk starts at 10:00 a.m. at Schaffner Park, Corner of Poplar Ave. and Water St., Hummelstown. Proceeds benefit the Hummelstown Food Pantry. This event is pet and stroller friendly. All registrants will receive a gift bag that includes a race T-shirt, etc. (T-shirts guaranteed if registered by 4/21.)
Chick's Tavern and Rubber Soul Brewing Co. are teaming up to provide lunch (pulled pork sandwich and chips), and Sweet Dawgs Frozen Desserts will be handing out a sweet treat for our participants and volunteers again this year!
Registrants and volunteers who bring a non-perishable food item for our collection bin will be entered into a drawing for one of the many gift certificates provided by our local sponsors.
Prizes for 5K & 5M runners: Top 1st - 3rd Male and Female finishers receive cash prizes and medals. ($75 for 1st place, $50 for 2nd place and $30 for 3rd place).
Winner medals and a selection from our prize table will be awarded to: 1st-2nd male and female finishers in each age group, 1st 5K stroller, 1st 5M stroller, 1st 5K dog & 1st 5M dog
