More About It’s Our Turn Now: Remembering the Christmas Truce of 1914
In World War I, enemy forces left the safety of the trenches on Christmas Eve to sing, to honor the dead, to create peace and discover the meaning of Christmas together. Today, we remember and proclaim the same desire for American and global peace. Facilitated by Chris Reynolds, we invite you to sing, pray, and release grief and anxiety. We do this during the darkest weeks of the year in expectation of new life, light and peace. Cost: $20 (no one is turned away).
