More About 2026 Kevin O'Boyle Memorial Event
CASA of Cuyahoga County, a child and youth advocacy organization
for local young people living in foster care, will once again celebrate the life and legacy of former
Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer and board member Kevin O’Boyle. The unexpected loss of Kevin in June of 2020 deeply impacted the CASA organization, but his legacy
has remained among his loving family and friends, numerous Cuyahoga County CASA volunteers,
and the many vulnerable youth in foster care that he served.
To honor Kevin and the vital child advocacy work of local CASA volunteers that was so important to him, CASA of Cuyahoga County and Celtic band Brigid’s Cross will once again celebrate his life and legacy on Thursday, June 18th from 5:30-8:00 PM at Hooley House Brooklynn. Single,
couple, and discounted group tickets are available now; $40 in advance online, $45 at the door, and include a generous buffet dinner, two drink tickets (beer, wine or soda), auction & raffle, and live music by Brigid’s Cross. All proceeds benefit CASA of Cuyahoga County and the Kevin O’Boyle Scholarship Fund.
Last year’s event was sold out, so reserve tickets now! Contributions to Kevin’s lasting CASA legacy can also be accepted here. There is no cost to become a CASA volunteer, but the personal reward that comes from serving a local child or teen in foster care can be great!
