More About ESC's Darryl Maximilian Robinson Pays Homage To Shakespearean Actor Sir Patrick Stewart
Theatre Lovers and Supporters,
Unlike the World of Sports ( and its various acclaimed athletes over time ), in The History of The Shakespearean Theatre ( which spans nearly five centuries ), There is no such thing as one artist being The GOAT ( Greatest Of All Time ), because as half a millieniem passed, and as each and every generation of actors, actresses and directors came and went, audiences, and historically, theatre critics, found and determined who the best and most skilled were in the moment on multiple continents across The Globe.
Thus, in The History of Shakespearean Theatre, there were many performers who were and are truly considered PART OF A HERD OF GOATS!
Sir Patrick Stewart, who recently passed away at age 86, was a UK thespian trained in the words, ideas and plays of the immortal bard, William Shakespeare, and translated his experience of living onstage in our still greatest playwright in The English Language, to creating on television and film memorable characters that would be honored and enjoyed by millions of viewers watching from both sides of the pond.
I have no doubt that Her Late and Most Revered Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, did indeed enjoy knighting Sir Patrick Stewart. I may be wrong, but, I think, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, enjoyed knighting Captain Jean Luc Picard.
And performing, literary, visual and creative artists around the world cheered her on!
The gifted thespian, whose screen performances will indeed last for generations, did great service to The Theatre and Performing and Creative Arts, and most of all, to Film and Television. Visit Wikipedia for his full career details, but this I know, feel and sense about the life and achievements of Shakespearean thespian Sir Patrick Stewart.
He is definitely in THE HERD OF GOATS!
