Seward Co-op Proudly Sponsors the 5th Anniversary
"Soul of the Southside" Juneteenth Festival

WHAT: Soul of the Southside Juneteenth Festival, sponsored by Seward Co-op

Seward Co-op is proud to return as an official sponsor for Soul of the Southside, Minneapolis' premier free, annual street festival celebrating Juneteenth and Black liberation. Returning for its historic 5th anniversary under the 2026 theme "We Mother the Future: Dream in Full Color," this expansive open-street block party will reclaim public space to center the richness, joy, and diversity of Black culture.

Attendees will experience two energetic performance stages hosting live music, dance lessons, storytelling, and spoken word. The event also features live mural painting, a curated Black-owned marketplace, food trucks, family-friendly kids' zones, and dedicated wellness and mindfulness booths. Festivities will spill into beloved neighborhood anchor venues including The Hook and Ladder Theater, Arbeiter Brewing, Moon Palace Books, Solcana Fitness, and the newly renovated Coliseum building.
