Beyond the Books an Evening with Iconic Thriller Author Sandra Brown

York County Libraries is pleased to present the iconic thriller author Sandra Brown to the Appell Center for our 2nd annual “Beyond the Books” event. Sandra will take the stage to share stories from her prolific career and the lessons she learned on her journey to the top of the New York Times bestseller list. A one-hour signing of her March 2026 new release, Bloodlust, will follow her presentation.

Sandra Brown is the author of 77 New York Times bestsellers, including Blood Moon, Out of Nowhere, Overkill, and Mean Streak. She has published over 80 novels with 80 million+ copies of her books in print worldwide, and her work has been translated into 34 languages. Brown has served as president of Mystery Writers of America, and in 2008 was named “Thriller Master,” the top award given by the International Thriller Writer’s Association.
