More About FESTIVAL
All are welcome to join Lisburn Community Fire Company as we host our 73rd Annual Olde Time Festival on August 5-8, with something for everyone, no matter what your age! Wednesday, the 5th, is Ride Night 6:00-10:00 with rides by AEB Amusements. Wristbands are $10 for kids up to 16 years old and $20 for 17 years old and older, sponsored by Lisburn Church of God. Sorry, the large pavilion is closed that night; however, you can find all kinds of sandwiches, sausage, pizza and Hershey’s ice cream. We have free entertainment on Wednesday night with Bob Martin, DJ. So, come join us, kickback and listen to some great tunes while munching on your pizza or ice cream and get ready for the rest of the weekend.
Thursday night our free entertainment continues with Make Mine Country. On Friday night come see & hear Borderline and Saturday night we wrap it up with the country band Famous Rumors Band. Every night Thursday through Saturday entertainment includes a tractor parade of all makes and kinds of antique tractors. In addition, you can find Bingo, midway of Rides & Games, Hayrides, Small Games of Chance, Book Sale, Games and Arts and Crafts Vendors.
Every night Thursday through Saturday, our Fire Company features its specialties French Fries, Chicken Corn and Ham Bean Soups, Funnel Cakes, and BBQ Chicken. In the large pavilion you will also find hot chicken and roast beef sandwiches with mashed potatoes, homemade pies and cakes! And don’t forget pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, hot and fresh sausages, and Hamburger BBQ sandwiches. Finish off the night with a funnel cake, Hershey’s ice cream, and a variety of cold drinks including Coca-Cola. This year we will be accepting credit cards in the Small & Large Pavilion, Sausage stand, fries and the Fire tent.
All proceeds benefit your local volunteer fire company so stop out for a great night of family fun! We are located at 1800 Main Street, Lisburn on Route 114 halfway between Mechanicsburg and New Cumberland.
