ImprovScape

ImprovScape is a multi-disciplinary celebration of the arts. We conduct an interview with a featured artist of any discipline and that interview fuels and informs a hilarious hour of improv comedy. Artists are encouraged to bring their work to show as part of the performance, and we use the comedy to uplift the artist, their history, work, inspirations, and dreams for the future! This performance is part of York Fringe Festival, an annual celebration of nontraditional live arts, such as improv and stand-up comedy, drag, burlesque, circus arts and sideshow, spoken word, puppetry, magic, dance, opera, storytelling, variety, interdisciplinary performance art, etc., as well as new twists on traditional theatre, such as re-setting Shakespeare under the sea or in Spanish-language performances.
