More About Chromostereopsis: The World on Edge Visual Experience
Experience an immersive performance exploring life and beyond through instrumental ambient rock and synthesized visuals live during York Fringe Festival. This five-piece experimental post-rock collective will take the stage for a single, fully improvised performance spanning four movements: Birth, Life, Death, and Afterlife. No predetermined structure. Just four musicians locked in real time, building and destroying a world from scratch over the course of one hour. This performance is part of York Fringe Festival, an annual celebration of nontraditional live arts, such as improv and stand-up comedy, drag, burlesque, circus arts and sideshow, spoken word, puppetry, magic, dance, opera, storytelling, variety, interdisciplinary performance art, etc., as well as new twists on traditional theatre, such as re-setting Shakespeare under the sea or in Spanish-language performances. The 2026 festival includes more than 30 performances over five days in eight venues across the City of York.
