Beethoven's Fifth

With its iconic four-note opening and themes of sorrow and delight threaded throughout, Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony is a cornerstone of our musical pantheon. The concert kicks off the YSO’s year-long celebration of Beethoven, paired with Prokofiev’s First Symphony and concluding with Theofanidis’ Bassoon Concerto. A celebration of classical masterworks performed by the York Symphony Orchestra.
