Punch Brothers, formed in 2006, are a virtuosic quintet known for pushing the boundaries of acoustic music and genre-defying sound. They have garnered critical acclaim, including a Grammy for Best Folk Album, and are celebrated for their innovative approach to modern string music. The band features mandolinist Chris Thile, guitarist Chris Eldridge, bassist Paul Kowert, banjoist Noam Pikelny, and violinist Brittany Haas.
