More About Drunk Pirates Docks in Washington, D.C. for a Limited 12-Week Run
Drunk Pirates is a boozy, high-seas comedy inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island. Presented by the Drunk Shakespeare Society, the show follows Jim Hawkins, Long John Silver and a crew of questionable pirates as they set out in search of Captain Flint’s legendary treasure. Before the performance begins, one professional actor takes five shots of rum and then attempts to lead the adventure, resulting in a fast-paced, unpredictable mix of improvisation, audience interaction, sword fights and pirate-themed chaos. Craft cocktails and snacks are available for purchase during performances.
